Guide for Use:
CODE 1 Yes
Record if any carer in the household identifies as Indigenous and/or Torres Strait Islander origin.
CODE 2 No
Record if none of the carers in the household identify as Indigenous and/or Torres Strait Islander origin.
A carer household is recorded as ‘Indigenous’ when at least one carer within the household is Indigenous. If all carers within the household are known to be non-Indigenous, the household is to be recorded as ‘non-Indigenous’. In all other cases, the carer household is to be included in the category ‘Not stated/inadequately described'.
