A geographical area defined by FACS to administer and enable more localised planning and decision-making and improve links between senior service delivery management and frontline staff. Each district is designed to better reflect local needs.
FACS districts are led by seven Executive District Directors who are responsible for the delivery of FACS services across Community Services and Housing. The district boundaries are aligned to the 15 Local Health Districts.
