Reporting Information

The Annual Statistical Report reports on an annual basis.

Published by NSW Department of Communities and Justice.

Framework Dimensions

Rationale

‘Priority access to those in greatest need’ is an proxy indicator of NSW Governments’ objective to provide services in an equitable manner. It is is defined as the proportion of new housing allocations that were to households in greatest need. Greatest need households include households that at the time of allocation are homeless.

A high or increasing proportion, particularly for short timeframes, may indicate a high degree of access for those households in greatest need.

Alignment: This aligns with national reporting in the Report on Government Services (RoGS)
