Definition
This refers to the total number of newly housed applicants from the NSW Housing Register in social housing who were previously homeless or at risk of homelessness, where the head of the household was aged 55 years or over, in the reporting period.
The number of applicants represents the total number of households applying to live in social housing - it is not a total count of people in those households.
