Comments
There are a number of ways in which a child/young person leaves OOHC. These include:
- A young person reaching the age of 18 years
- The expiration or rescission of the Care Order
- Transition to independent living and after care support
- Restoration to the family
- The granting of a Sole Parental Responsibility Order
- Granting of an Adoption Order, or
- The child or young person moving to another jurisdiction
Data ageing:
- Data ageing is two months, unless otherwise indicated. Therefore, the data for this indicator will be available two months after the end of the month in which the data first becomes available.
Data changes:
- From 2022-23, District of Case Management Responsibility has replaced District for disaggregation.
Data limitations:
- Nil.
